Port Surgery

Surgery on Thursday went well. No complications! Coming out of the surgery was a little different than last time though. I wasn't as aware when I woke up and I really just wanted to sleep - last time I had waken up in the OR and was able to walk on my own within almost 5 minutes it seemed.

Aside from that everything is fine! The port was put in my chest on the left side and it hurts but it's nothing I can't handle. The pain should go away in the next day or so. I have a bandage covering the area until Tuesday, when I find out the complete staging and treatment.

Below are a few pictures that my dad gladly took.

Just after surgery
I don't remember this being taken at all

At the end of all this, I'll be a surgery pro! Thank you everyone for being there. It really has lifted me from the depression I was beginning to experience. I feel so much more confident now and I'm so much happier.
