Wow your story is amazing. Your stance with the whole situation was very similar to mine when I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a freshmen in college. The first few weeks was such a whirlwind learning how to give yourself insulin shots 4 times a day as well as testing your blood sugar God knows how many times. But then after a few months it dawned on me how much I was taking life for granted and really learned how to embrace each God given day for the best no matter how gloomy things seem. There is always a ray of sunshine even on the most cloudy days. I will always keep you in my prayers. Chris :)
